VICTOR/VICTORIA
• Music by Henry Mancini
• Lyrics by Leslie Bricusse
• Book by Blake Edwards
• Based on the film of the same name starring Julie Andrews
Arts Collective Theatre proudly presents Victor/Victoria, a dazzling musical comedy that celebrates identity, courage, and the power of living authentically.
Set against the chic backdrop of 1930s Paris, Victor/Victoria follows Victoria Grant, a gifted performer whose career is reborn when she reinvents herself as “Victor” — a man who performs as a woman. What begins as a clever disguise quickly becomes a sensational success, sparking hilarious misunderstandings, romantic entanglements, and unexpected revelations about love and attraction.
With razor-sharp wit, show-stopping musical numbers, and timeless elegance, Victor/Victoria challenges conventions while delivering pure theatrical joy. Featuring iconic songs including “Le Jazz Hot” and “Living in the Shadows,” this Tony Award–winning musical feels as bold and relevant today as ever.
At Arts Collective Theatre, we believe in telling stories that reflect the richness and complexity of the human experience. Victor/Victoria is a fearless, glamorous, and joyful celebration of self-expression — and a perfect reminder that the stage is a place where everyone belongs.
